DESCRIPTION:  Calling all Greater Sacramento-area Cal alumni! Join us for a Golden Bear Hike to Lake Clementine in Auburn, CA. This scenic 4.5-mile round-trip trail follows the North Fork of the American River and leads to the stunning Lake Clementine Dam, where you’ll experience a breathtaking waterfall. Hike DetailsDate: Saturday, April 26thTime: 8:15 meet. 8:30 am hike start.Meeting Location: Lake Clementine Trailhead, Auburn, CADifficulty: Moderate (4.5 mile return, ~ 500 feet elevation gain)Estimated Duration: 2.5 - 3 hoursHike lead: Mariah HudlerCo-Lead: Jen Stanton Parking & FeesParking Location: Auburn State Recreation Area - Lake Clementine Trailhead. Parking can get filled up, but there is additional parking along the canyon. Make sure to arrive in time to complete the parking fee. Carpooling is encouraged. Fee: $10 per vehicle (cash or card at the self-pay station or use Poppy Pass) Post-Hike Lunch at Katrina’s Café (if you want to continue the fun!)After soaking in the beauty of the dam, we’ll head to Katrina’s Café, a local favorite known for its hearty breakfast and lunch options.
