This exclusive adventure is set on private property, granting you unique access to trails rarely seen by the public.Event Details:Date:&nbsp;Saturday, December 6th, 2025Time: Full-Day Experience - Meet at 8 am, start hike at 8:30 am; hike will end about 3 pmLocation:&nbsp;Meeting Place is Feather Down Shopping Center (Bel Air Parking Lot): 1258 Stabler Lane, Yuba City at 8am! This will be a group of likely 18-20 hikers. The level of rigor is best at 5-6 miles moderate level. This is a hike best suited for those 12 and older who can complete the hike.&nbsp;Group Limit:&nbsp;Minimum 10 hikers, maximum 20 hikers (Reserve early&mdash;spaces fill quickly!)Cost: $30 per hiker (more info upon registration)Guides: Three knowledgeable and experienced guidesWaiver: When you register, you will receive more information about the hike and information provided by Middle Mountain Hikes. You will need to complete a waiver the morning of the hike. Please arrive at 8 am to complete this paperwork.&nbsp;Immerse yourself in breathtaking views, diverse wildlife, and fascinating geological formations. Our guides, Denise, David, and Laura, will enrich your journey with engaging insights into the area's ecology, history, and cultural significance.Important Information:This is an all-day commitment; due to private property restrictions, there are no in-and-out privileges.Participants must confirm attendance in advance to secure their spot.Please bring adequate water, food, sturdy footwear, and layers for changing weather conditions.For further consideration before registering (from Middle Mountain Hike Coordinators):-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Our hikes are almost always on uneven terrain, even if it is relatively&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; level walking. We don&rsquo;t follow many paths, nor are there groomed trails.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;All hikers must wear hiking boots or at least sturdy shoes.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Athletic/running shoes are not always comfortable for most adults.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Dress in layers-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hats are good &ndash; chinstraps or keeper cords help on a windy ridge!-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hiking sticks are helpful.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Be prepared for rain (rain gear) or shine (sunscreen)-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We don&rsquo;t have significant tick issues in the Buttes, but there may be&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; mosquitos.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We keep an eye out for poison oak.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;There may be thistles at certain times of the year &ndash; long pants are&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; preferable to shorts.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Buttes can feel much warmer than the surrounding area &ndash; bring&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; plenty of water!-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;If teenagers are coming &ndash; limit or disallow energy drinks. They can lead&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to sickness and dehydration.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Carry lunch and snacks for the day &ndash; lunch is on the trail.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bring a daypack rather than a tote.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Chairs are not recommended unless they are part of a program you may &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; be doing, but a seating pad is sometimes nice on a hard or damp rock.-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cameras and binoculars are always welcome.&nbsp;Spots are limited&mdash;secure your place today and discover the hidden wonders of Sutter Buttes!Reserve Your Spot Now!
