Who remembers the last time Cal played Texas Tech in a bowl game? Well, this is our chance for payback! The Bears finished the 2023 regular season with an impressive three-game winning streak earning them an invitation to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport Louisiana. If you're not traveling to the game, then come on out to the Sac Cal Alumni Watch Party. We'll be at Bear & Crown British Pub in Old Sacramento (1022 2nd Street, Sacramento) on Saturday, December 16th to see the Bears take on Texas Tech. Kickoff is at 6:15pm. Admission is free however this is a no-host event. Bear & Crown has great food and drink, so you can order dinner and watch the game. Registration is not necessary to attend but is helpful to get a rough idea of how many people will be there (it helps Bear & Crown for staffing purposes).
