The hike is back on! Join us on Sunday, March 10 at 12:00 pm for a 4-mile hike at beautiful Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park!
Located just off Highway 49 in Pilot Hill, this park boasts stunning views, rolling hills, a movie set and access to the American River. This is a moderately-challenging hike with mostly gentle slopes.
If the forecast calls for rain, the hike will be rescheduled for the following week, or the first week that it is not raining.
There are no trash receptacles in the park. You must carry everything you brought back out with you. There are pit toilets available at the trail head and by the river. Dress in layers (preferably in blue and gold!) and bring sun protection, water, and snacks. We will stop for a break about half-way through when we get to the river (picnic benches available). Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Please bring bags to clean up after your pet. Children are welcome but must be able to handle an approximately 2-hour hike.
Parking is limited! Please email CalAlumniSac@gmail.com if you have room in your car or would like to carpool so we can coordinate rides.
Please aim to arrive by 11:45 for check-in.
